Road to Freedom through Writing

In Song of the Lost, I know I don't have a real, mapped-out storyline, as I've stressed a lot over the last few posts. But it's how I write...sometimes these chunks or sentences just pop into my head, and I don't even know what they mean. Messages from a savior, I think. Someone or something that wants me to write it all down. So if you were to read my story, some of it wouldn't make sense, but it would sound very poetic. Yup, poetic. I pride myself in my poetic writing, mm-hmm.

When I write, it's like freeing myself from the boundaries of life, you know? I'm free to imagine and write down my wildest, craziest, picture-perfect, happiest moments of my dreams!

"Dreams are more precious than gold"
That's why, when I want to be a published author, I don't want people to look down on my writing, because if they do...they'll be looking down on me! I mean, I know in my book reviews, I look down on writing, but now I understand that it's not really the author's fault, it's the mysterious force of nature that prods us writer's along.

So hurrah!!!! I've taken too long of a break from Song of the Lost, but now I'm back on the road to freedom! Whopeeeee! ^_^

I know what you mean. :) I write because I can immerse myself in something else for a while . . . make things happen that couldn't happen in real life.

Very Good Post! :)

I know how you feel when you say that you're freeing yourself by writing.

Through writing, ANYTHING is possible. It is the language of our imagination :)
