The Battle of Autumn is a collection of pieces I wrote about Autumn and the approaching Winter.

The golden brown leaves float gently down on the black pavement, splashing color to the grayness. Summer, gripping on to their greeness, refusing to change and fall. But time would triumph the already lost battle.
