Beautiful Japanese Song; Houseki

I watched this movie called Nobody Knows. It follows the story of 12 year old Akira and his 3 younger siblings as they live alone in an apartment after their mother abandoned them.
I thought the children were beautiful, and their acting was raw and emotional. However, it was kind of boring at times where the camera would stay on the same scene for like, 20 seconds.

Akira (Yagira yuga) was the cutest and sweetest older brother. He and the second oldest, his sister, would take care of their little brother and sister.

At the end, a song played. And it was very sweet, and sung in Japanese. It's very beautiful and moved me to tears (tugged at my heartstrings)

English translation:

When I questioned the midnight sky
The stars simply shine
Into the black lake of my molten heart
I can only flow

Will the angel even give me a backward glance?
Do you want to splash around in my heart?
The waves being shaken by the winds of winter
Eventually, I am invited into the darkness

With eyes as withered as ice
I’m growing up and becoming mature
A jewel pungent with a stench
that lets nobody approach

The emptiness of my heart in the dark sky
Tonight, the stars simply shine
When the light of spring comes eventually
My breath was sucked

With eyes as withered as ice
I’m growing up and becoming mature
A jewel pungent with a stench
that lets nobody approach.
