CSN Review: Stationary! Whee!

My mail usually arrives at around 12:30 am to 1:00 pm, so my package didn't come around that time and I was SO disappointed! Then at around 4:30: the doorbell rings and a nice big package arrives. SQUEALS!I opened it and examined all my orders:
What I ordered:
A Beinfang Sketchbook (it's huge!)
Prismacolor Woodcase Pencils (24)
Pilot Varsity Disposable Fountain Pen
Zebra Mechanical Pencil
_________________________________________________________
Here is the product of my Sketchbook and Prismacolor pencils (and my own Reev drawing pencils, it's the thin brown one on the right side of the picture above)
I drew the picture in a hurry....it's not my best!

Prismacolor colored pencils:
Good:
  • smooth and soft, glided across the paper
  • dark, hard lines
Bad:
  • Not a broad color variety
Sketchbook:
Good: Big, large paper
Bad: The paper is too thin. And there's no recycled content!!! I cut down so many trees ~sigh~
Pilot Varsity Pen:Zebra Mechanical Pencil:
Phew! So many pictures!
Well, I hope you can stop by CSN stores sometime! Thank you Jessica from the Promo Team for providing me with all the awesome stuff to review!

Also, can you guess what book I portrayed in my picture? I'll give you a hint, it's a classic and it was made into a movie. It's one of my favorites and I've mentioned it before on my book blog Pages. Let me tell you: I DID NOT TRY MY BEST ON THAT PICTURE! I'll post better one's later, hehe :D

Cool! I love Prismacolor colored pencils because they're so good for blending, but I find Crayola better for more exact coloring. And the fountain pen looks great - I might get that one!

All those new products you got must be exciting! I have taken Prismacolor art classes before, and that is an AWESOME brand of pencils to work with. (I have the set of 48 pencils, so I have more colors) They aren't your average pencils because you can do really cool shading & blending effects with them that I've never been able to do with a regular set of pencils. I'm sure you'll enjoy experimenting with them!

For the life of me, I have no clue what book that you portrayed your drawings from. It has a key, a rose, and then hugging & happiness at the end. I don't know! Hope you'll reveal the answer to put me out of my misery. :)

That's awesome! I love the products. And your pictures are gorgeous! Of the products, I especially like the pen! And what book/movie? Hmmm....Tuck Everlasting? That's my first guess, then perhaps something with Johnny Depp.

The pictures remind me of the book The Secret Garden. The flower, the key, etc...
